Student Success Statement "A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder" -Thomas Carlyle What this statement means is to always have goals to be able to have directions. If you don't have goals for the future then you won't have any idea of what you want to do, where you want to go. For example, a ship needs a rudder to be able to navigate to places. Okay we need goals to navigate our selves to our destinations. I have a life planning goals journal where i include more of my goals for the future everyday. With this journal have a an idea of what to do or go next. This helps me keep trace of all my my accomplishments and the ones to come. Having a journal that guides me with my goals i am able to accomplish most of them. A rudder is needed to get  to the people on the boat destination like our goals is to our destination. Always have goals to have an accomplishment to make and have a destination.

Trauma Nurse Duties and Responsibilities: They treat patients in any kind of emergency. They also handle the situations in which they don't know the disease or cause of injury. Salary: $54,000 - $74,000 depending on time of experience  Education:  To become a registered nurse, you will need to complete at minimum an associate degree in Nursing and have passed the NCLEX-RN. Demand or Need for this particular career: Someone who is able to think on it's feet and able to respond fast. Reflection: I dont know if i want to be a trauma nurse because you do have to move quick and i don't think its the job for me.

Mistakes just helps us to do better and learn from them." -Kimberly Maldonado People are always going to make mistakes no matter what. It's okay to make mistakes, they will help you grow. Mistakes are the reason why you do the things you did wrong right today. If you know someone that says they have never made a mistake in their life, that can only mean that they are not trying new things and since they are not trying they wouldn't be able to do anything. If you try to do an experiment lets say, you tried and tried but it just does not come out right. It's okay because also as you are trying you will learn from the mistake you did and perfect it to make it right. Memorial Day 1. Memorial Day is a day in which people who died in the military are remembered. 2. Memorial Day is on the last Monday of May, being on the 30th. 3. A few ways to show honor on Memorial Day are to fly to flag, you can also say thank you or right a thank you letter to anyone that is serving in the army, military, etc. You can as well stop by to a families house that you know has a member serving to show appreciation. You can attend a memorial service. 4. I will have a moment of silence to honor those who died in the military, etc. I will as well attend any Memorial Day parade their might be.

Sports Medicine Duties and Responsibilities:  Sports medicine  is a branch of medicine that deals with physical fitness and the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise Salary: $212,584 Education:    They require you to have a  bachelor's degree and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Demand or Need for this particular career: They do require you to be licensed in all states Reflection:   This career is interesting but i would not like to become one because if someone brakes their leg i won't be able to handle seeing it.

Forgiving will be the only way to heal your injury. When someone forgives they stop being angry, they stop feeling resentful towards people. For example, my mom was driving like she always does every morning. A lady was parked by the side walk heating up her car. When my mom was passing by her car i guess the lady didn't noticed my mom and crashed into her. The lady's front part of the car was all crashed in only one corner which was the corner she hit my mom's car with. It was the drivers side by the way. She busted my mom's passengers door and the one in the back. She basically crashed the two door on the passengers side. The doors wouldn't open, they finished up talking and stuff. Monson What this statement means is no matter how many people or if there are any at all when something is right don't be afraid to stand alone. For example, if some of my friends lets say were planning to ditch school or cheat on the final. Would I tag along or go my own way? I would not tag along no matter what they tell me. They can say, oh if you don't do what I say we can no longer be friends. Fine by me I don't need friends to be doing what's right. We have to learn and I say we because I as well don't want to be alone. When we know that people we hang out with are  not a good influence we need to go away and not hang out with them even if they are the only friends we have. Student Success Statement "I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating." - Sophocles This statement means to always win with honor never by cheating. For example, during a test that you didn't study for you need help or your stuck in a question. Most kids would cheat off someone else people to get the answer. They may pass the test but they will know that it was dishonorably. They passed the test by cheating and that percentage they got on the test is not meant for them. On the other hand if you try your best on that test and you don't cheat you may not get the score you desired to get but you did it honorably. This is why cheating is not the way to go. Try your best that is what counts even though you will lose what matters is that you try by your self with out cheating.

Demand or Need or this particular career: they are required to be licensed Reflection: I find this career interesting because they can channel energy into a person by means of touch.

Student success statement "If  I've got correct goals, and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how, everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing right, I'm going to succeed." -Dan Dierdorf What this statement is trying to say is to keep goals you want to pursue. For example, I have a journal were i write down some goals i want to accomplish. The only way i will accomplish these goals is by doing them the right way. Keeping a journal like Dan did will help you become successful because you will have your goals planned out. so far I have accomplished 6 of my goals in my journal. So remember to always choose the right and continues on that path. If you follow your goals you will achieve them.

Some  reflexologists  also work with pressure points around the ears. Dennis Prager What this statement means is that money, happiness, love are not the most important things in ones life. People may think those are the most important thing because that's what they are feeling. Feelings can come in between the values of what's right. For example, you took your dog out to the beach. The dog runs off into the water and you see he's drowning but a couple feet away you see a human you don't know is drowning too. You have to decide whether to safe your dog or the person. ofcourse your going to save your dog because that's what your feeling is the right thing to do. Saving the person that you don't know is a good value that you need to know is important.

For example, when people do something they know is right they can only feel good about them self. Doing the right thing will bring your self esteem up a lot. Don't you feel like you should help people but your to afraid to go help them out? Same here whenever i see people struggling with something i was like to go and help them. The only thing that holds me back is my shyness.  One day i had the courage to help this person that needed help with their grocery. I told myself that i could this and i did. Student Success Statement  Phillip Riggs' Four Success Tips Work Hard Follow your passions. Do things you are interested in doing Don't chase after money Serve others. Do good things for others, and good things will come to you What Philip Riggs was trying to say is in order for us to proceed or dream we have to work hard. We should not give up , keep on trying until we make it. Find something you are interested in and follow your passion for it. One big thing that he said was to not chase money meaning to do it for you not for the money. Money shouldn't be your number one priority. The last tip he gave us was to be a good person , a ctr person and help others when needed. This corresponds to us in the ways to follow our dreams. Following these tips will make us what we want to become.

Challenges Teens Face Today  Some challenges teens face today are depression, peer pressure, bullying, drug use, social media, obesity, alcohol use,etc. Some challenges I'm dealing with is my social media. I tend to always care for what people say about me. Up to right now i ask my mom to take away my phone, when see sees that i'm too in my phone. Being a ctr person can help overcome any challenges you make by knowing what is right when it comes to that situation. I can help other kids over come their challenges by making them see and understand the situation. I think that the greatest need kids have today would be their cellphones because they are always on their phone, during school, home, etc. They don't want to let go of it.
