Queen Creek High School, Arizona    During class we saw a clip of this girl called Chy Johnson. She was being bullied at Queen Creek High School, Arizona. Her mother decided to call family and friends for help, so she called Carson Jones a member from the football at the school. She asked to keep an eye on her, but they took it futher in. They asked her to sit with them during lunch. From that day on Chy, Carson, and Tucker Workman became real close. They are really good friends. Not only them but the whole football team. Chy has not been bullied ever since she started hanging out with the boys. She calls them her guys  (Chy's guys). They have had her back and she has had their back and has attended every football game with a poster with all her guys names on it to cheer them on.
Student Success Statement "Being a c-t-r person isn't always easy, but it's the best person you can be" - Diana Beltran What this statement is trying to get through is that you can try being a ctr person even though it takes time and you may struggle, but that is the only best person you can ever be. People sometimes find ways to bring themselves down. It's either by saying negative things to themselves or by not trying and saying the won't be able to get it. You have to go for what you want to be or do. Go for it fully out with out bringing yourself down. Take me for example, I want to join the color guard team. I have been attending practice every single day. There is this one move called a pop up that i struggle with. Your basically down on your knees and you have to pop up on to your feet. I have been practicing and up to right now I can get it a little i still fall but ill keep practicing until I get. You see you just have to be on pushing you

Student Success Statement "In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing." - Theodore Roosevelt  s statement is trying to get through is to always choose the right. For example, one of my friends at home told me that he was walking home from school one afternoon after his football practice. He was telling how his practice has gone and what he did for practice. Any ways he was walking home and he found his friend with a group of kids. He didn't know what they were doing since they were all huddled up. He went to go say hey to his friend. He didn't want to seem rude for not say hi. He went over and once he got to see the reason they were huddled, he was in shock. He saw that they were all smoking. It was too late for him to leave because his friend had seen him already. His friend offered him to smoke with them. My friend didn't know what to do because if he said no they were going to think his a chicken and if he said yes they w

Student Success Statement "Nothing is ever gained in doing what's wrong" - Wilford Woodruff What this statement is referring to is that if you do something wrong you will not accomplish anything. For example, during class the teacher showed us a video of a teenage girl in court. She was sent to court for using drugs. She was called out by the judge to ask her some questions. During that time she was a bit funny like if she took something before she went out to be asked questions. The judge asked her if she took drug before she came out and she denied it. After the questioning she was asked to leave the court room. On doing so she responded with adios to the judge and the judge called her back. She was ask to give 10,000 dollars. She was in shock when she heard that and mad. She left flipping the judge off. She was asked to come back and was sentenced three days in jail. For using drugs, disrespecting the judge she was fined ten thousand dollars and sentence

Student Success Statement "It's A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to set up and do the right thing at the right time." - Pam Knox Even though you are not friends or know the person that's injured do not be afraid to go up and help. To in class we saw a video of three softball members, two on the opposite team of the other girl. It was a softball game for the championship, Western Oregon vs. Central Washington. Sarah tucholshy player from the Western Oregon team was up next to bat and she has never hit a home run before throughout her years of playing. On this special game she made a home run for the first time. While she was running to all bases she noticed she missed one base. She turned around but hurt her knee bad enough that she dropped to the ground and crawled back to first base. She hugged first base, coach Pam Knox asked what would happen if they took her out and they told her that the two next hits will only count as a single. They were o

Student Success statement "I have been asked what I mean by 'word of honor.' I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls- walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching even so far into the ground- there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I'd die first." -Karl G. Maeser What this statement means is that to keep your word when you say you won't do something. Keeping your word is giving your word of honor. For example, one afternoon my brother got home from soccer practice and he had to do his math homework. He got his backpack and sat at the table. He started doing his homework but i noticed that he would check his phone a lot. I asked him what he was doing and he said that he was doing his homework. Student Success Statement "A promise must never be broken." Alexander Hamilton What this statement means is to never break a promise once you promise. For example, Abraham Lincoln promised his mother before she had passed away that he will never drink whiskey or use any tobacco products. He kept his promise even though he had the temptation of trying it. Throughout his whole lifetime he kept his promise to his mother. Another example is a teacher. This teacher named Weddle made a promise on the year 2001 that he wont trim or shave his facial hair until bin laden was captured or dead. He kept his promise for about 7 whole years 3,454 days. He would see the news everyday to see if they had captured him or to see  if he was dead but he didn't have luck. He did want to shave his beard off at some point but he didn't because he had promise no too. Student Success Statement "Goodness is the only investment that never fails." Henry David Thoreau  What this statement means is that when you do something right and your a good person you will only feel good about yourself. For example, we saw a video in class about teenagers doing tragic things. They went to court and what they heard was not what they expected. They got sentenced either life in prison or death sentence. The reaction they gave were of regret, they regret doing what they had done. On the other hand the people that did good things felt great about themselves. They either help shovel ice off someones drive way or pay a dozen parking spots in a hospital, they felt great. They felt great because they knew that by doing good wasn't harming anyone it was helping people that needed to know people cared about them. You'll NEVER REGRET doing the RIGHT thing. They only investment the will never fail is goodness.

Student Success Statement "My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy; you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they are popular; you make them because they are right."                                                           Theodore  Hesburg h What this statement means that we dont make our decisions because they are cheap, easy or popular we have to make them because they are right. For example, some people may think that the only way to pass a test is cheating. Cheating just makes a task easier for you to pass the class. When cheating is done it's just for people to get a good grade on that one assignment but it leads to more cheating. You aren't actually learning anything and when the real thing comes your going to be lost. Yeah cheating is easy but studying is the right thing to do and you won't only obtain a good grade you will actually learn something.

Spring Break My spring break was alright because it was fun sometimes and other times it was boring. My cousin did come sleepover the whole week. We watched the disaster movie which was really funny. My other cousin that live in my block invited my cousin brother and me to the park to go see his dad play soccer. It was pretty exciting for my cousins and brother I was just there like okay i dont see anything interesting about soccer. I'm more of a baseball person, when it comes to baseball i know everything. My dad and uncle were in a baseball team back in the days. They still have all their equipment so i take it to the park sometimes and practice batting and pitching. I have told my parents that i would like to join a team, but they aren't sure because my brother was in a soccer team and they paid everything he needed for him to not play after all and they dont want to waste money for later i can say that i dont want to be in the team anymore. Which wont happen because
