Student Success Statement "I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong."  Abraham Lincoln  What this statement means is that you have to be true to yourself. Being true to yourself will lead to great accomplishments in the future. Not only are you being true to yourself but to the people around you as well. For example, today in class the teacher was showing us a video about Abraham Lincoln.  In the video they talked about the failure that he had throughout his life. Even though he was failing the things he wanted to do he still continued to try and try until he became the United States president in 1859 I believe. Be true to yourself and be a CTR person.

Student Success Statement "True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." Brigham Young What this statement means is to do what's right all the time. If you want to be independent you have to be a ctr person and do what's right. For example, follow the rules the teacher sets in the class rooms. Follow the schools rule if you don't want to end up getting in trouble. By following the rules you will become independent. You won't need anyone to babysit you, but if you don't follow the rules people won't take you seriously. It's very simple to just follow the rules in any place you are. We also need to respect our older people. We are not suppose to disrespect them when they are asking us to do something when we know it won't hurt us to do. So, be a ctr person 24/7 and always choose the right .

Student Success Statement  "Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it  isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it." GEORGE MITCHELL, Senate Majority Leader, Presidential Medal of Freedom, Disney Chairman of the Board. This quote means that when you cheat you feel good at first but later on you will regret cheating. For example, My brothers friend cheated during a test. When they gave the test back he ended up getting a hundred percent. He was happy when he saw his test score. No one knew that he had cheated to get that score. A couple days went by and he started to feel weird. He was feeling sad because he had cheated to get that score. He thought to himself that that score wasn't meant for him. He decided to tell the teacher and he got a zero for the test. Cheat makes you for good for a moment but it will haunt you later on.
