"It's A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to set up and do the right thing at the right time." - Pam Knox

Even though you are not friends or know the person that's injured do not be afraid to go up and help. To in class we saw a video of three softball members, two on the opposite team of the other girl. It was a softball game for the championship, Western Oregon vs. Central Washington. Sarah tucholshy player from the Western Oregon team was up next to bat and she has never hit a home run before throughout her years of playing. On this special game she made a home run for the first time. While she was running to all bases she noticed she missed one base. She turned around but hurt her knee bad enough that she dropped to the ground and crawled back to first base. She hugged first base, coach Pam Knox asked what would happen if they took her out and they told her that the two next hits will only count as a single. They were only one home run to two the championship. Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace which are actually on the opposite team stood up and asked if they can carry Sarah to the bases to complete the home run. They allowed it, but they did look at them kinda weird. One rule they had was that members from the opposite team can not touch the opponent. Once everyone saw what they were doing they got very emotional to see Mallory and Liz doing the right thing at the right time.
