Tyler Haws


What this statement means is that all the hard you do will eventually pay off to something good. There was a student in Brigham young university named Tyler Haws. He was the leading scorer for the school in basketball. His skills for basketball wasn't in him. His dad was a basketball player in Brigham young university as well and was the best too. One morning his dad took him out to a church and started training Tyler. Drill after Drill repeating it over and over, doing trick shots from the hall, full court, etc. With Tyler training every morning he became the leading scorer for the university. He them got accepted to train to become a missionary in the Philippines. That was his goal since I believe the third grade. He left basketball leaving a legacy. His hard work paid off after all.

My Thanksgiving Week My thanksgiving week was great. I went to my dads house to spend the day. We didn't do anything big we just went out to buy food. My brother ended up getting wing stop and my dad and I got panda express. After we got our food we went home to eat and watched a movie. The movie my brother picked out was Wall-E. It is a really nice movie by the way. We made popcorn and got chips and ice cream. We were have way in the movie when I turn around and my brother is asleep. My dad and I stayed up until the end of the movie. Once the movie finished my dad put my brother to bed while I put the movie away. This thanksgiving was great for me because I spent time with my dad.

S tudent Success Statement "The most important thing you will ever have is good values." Dennis Prager What this statement means is that money, happiness, love are not the most important things in ones life. People may think those are the most important thing because that's what they are feeling. Feelings can come in between the values of what's right. For example, you took your dog out to the beach. The dog runs off into the water and you see he's drowning but a couple feet away you see a human you don't know is drowning too. You have to decide whether to safe your dog or the person. ofcourse your going to save your dog because that's what your feeling is the right thing to do. Saving the person that you don't know is a good value that you need to know is important.

Demand or Need for this particular career: Degree in medicine and have to be licensed to practice. Reflection: I would like to be a pulmonary medical physician because it sounds interesting.
