FBI Behavior Analysis Unit (BAU)

It is very difficult to become part of the behavior analysis unit. You need at least a bachelors degree. With a bachelors degree you gain employment in the FBI. To be in the FBI you dont need any specific area of study. Even though you dont need any specific study you can study to get the degree in criminal justice or psychology to gain some knowledge about the human mind. You may also want to join the internships the FBI offer to increase the chance of being hired in the FBI. The FBI recommends people that are interested in the BAU to have experience working with abduction, sexual assault and murder cases. They need to have experience with these cases because they will be working on them everyday and they need to be prepared for what they see and how aggressive the criminal is. There is an age for you to apply to work in the FBI. You must be 23 to 37 years to be able to apply for the FBI. You do need to go through drug tests, polygraph test, criminal background check, and a credit check in order for you to get hired. If you get hires you will have a 20 week training program. You will learn about forensics, investigative techniques, and self defends to be able to work in the BAU. In order for you to apply as an agent in the BAU you do need to work for three years as a general special agent.

I choose this topic because I would like to be part of the BAU. This is my dream job when i grow up.
