What this statement is trying to say is that think before you act. For example, there was a homeless guy asking for money in the streets. this lady came up to him and gave him the change that she had. When putting the change in the bucket her engagement ring slipped off her finger into the bucket. She didn't notice and neither did the guy. He saw it and took it to see how much they would give him for it. They would give him four thousand dollars in the spot. He thought about it and decided not to sell it and he'll wait to see if the lady would return so he could give it back. The lady did return and he gave her her ring back. She was thankful and made a fundraiser for him. they ended up collecting one hundred eighty-four dollars , more than what they expected to collect. He also got contacted by his family that did not know anything about him for sixteen years. They came to think he was dead. He got reunited with his family and got his own house with the money the collected with the fundraiser all thanks to the good of returning the ring.
