Laboratory Animal Caretaker
Duties and Responsibilities: They take care of the animals scientist use for research. They are responsible for making sure the animals kept in the laboratory are clean, groomed, feed and have water. They work with many different types of animals like rats, guinea pigs, monkeys, rats, horse, etc. They are basically zookeepers that work in laboratories.
Salary: $24,740
Education: High school diploma
Demand or need for this particular career: associates degree, training in vocational schools
Reflection: I find this career interesting and i don't know if i want to become a laboratory animal caretaker because i tend too get rashes on my arm when im around animals.
