Hematologist

Duties and Responsibilities: A hematologist is responsible for treating blood related diseases. They can also prescribe blood products to patients that have blood clotting disorders. 

Salary: $390,000

Education: You need to take four years of medical school. Three years to train in a specialized area like learning elements of patient care. Two to four years of fellowship for further training in a subspecialty such as adult hematology.

Demand or Need for this profession: bachelors degree

Reflection: I would like to become a hematologist because i want to help people with blood disease get better and for them to not go through the pain they might go through when they blood clots.
